Accounting Secretary

We are a well-established SME recognized in the Gatineau region in the field of outdoor space development services. We are currently looking for an Accounting Secretary. We have been in business for 29 years and place strong emphasis on family values and work–life balance.

 

Your role will report to the Director of Finance and Administration.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

 

  • Answer phone calls and manage email and postal correspondence

  • Oversee training, security clearances, and employee certifications

  • Organize internal events such as BBQs and year-end parties

  • Track inventory of uniforms, office supplies, and keys

  • Update the fleet and equipment list

  • Research new opportunities on websites based on company activities

  • Manage petty cash

  • Provide administrative support for new bids/quotes

  • Support the accounting team

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • College diploma (DEC) in accounting secretarial studies, administration, or relevant experience

  • Two (2) years or more of experience in a similar position

  • Good knowledge of French and English

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
